The role
Technicians run the work. You take the jobs our outreach team books and see them through: clean the BBQ to Aspect standards, keep the client happy, collect payment, and stay in touch with your regional manager along the way.
What you will do
- Communicate with your regional manager and clients daily
- Learn the equipment: what it does, how to use it, how to look after it
- Complete training on both the operations and the sales side
- Own quality control on every job, and the client being happy at the end of it
- Get yourself to job sites each day
- Submit before and after photos of every job to the team drive
What we look for
- Hands-on experience. Outdoor or physical work helps, but it is not required. We train you.
- Customer service. You are on someone's property. Handle it professionally and people book again.
- Time management. Work within the expected window, and speak up early if a job needs more or less.
- Teamwork. Clear communication with the crew and your manager.
- Adaptability. Job demands change and so does the schedule.
- Problem solving. Every grill is a bit different. Some are very different.
- Independence. You will work alone and outdoors, and handle situations with patience.
- Attention to detail. The difference between a clean and a deep clean is the parts nobody checks.
- Professionalism. You represent Aspect at every door.
Requirements
- A valid Ontario G2 or G licence (or equivalent) and access to a vehicle for getting to job sites
Pay
- Starting at $18.50/hr CAD
- Piece-rate pay on top, plus tips at jobs and commission on any extra sales you make
Where it goes
We reward the people who make the season work. This is still a young company, so there is real room to grow into more responsibility and stay on beyond a single summer if you want it.
